E.A.T.I – Equipment and Assistive Technology Initiative

EATI provides a source of funding for assessment, trialing, acquisition and/or training with equipment and assistive devices for people with disabilities who have employment or voluntarism goals.

The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children

  • For the good and welfare of a person prior to attaining his/her 19th birthday when sponsored by a Lodge, and
  • For charitable programs addressing the needs of children with hearing and speech disorders.

Ministry of Children and Family Development

Ministry of Housing and Social Development
Focus on funding for people ages 18 to 65 that receive income assistance from the Government of British Columbia. Individuals over the age of 65 require their funding to be reviewed before being approved. Considerations of funding for:

McAdams Foundation Focus on assisting individuals and institutions that are committed to enriching the lives of children and teenagers whose families have limited financial resources. Considerations and examples of funding where the Foundation will give assistance are:

  • Certain medical or dental procedures (not including standard orthodontics).
  • Assisting special needs children to attend summer camps and other recreational pursuits.
  • Providing to other charities, equipment and facilities such as boats, special needs vehicles and playground equipment.
